A template is a pre-designed format which makes it easier and faster the quoting process.
How to
Option #1 : Creating a Template from scratch
- Go to: Settings > Quotes > Quotes Template
- Select: + New Quote Template and fill in the details the quote.
Option #2: using a quote already created for a customer as a template
- Go to: Modules > Quotes
- Select the Quote that will be used as a template
- Go to: Actions > Copy as a Template
The name or the content of the template can be changed in Settings > Quotes > Quotes Template
At the right side of each template there is a button to edit or delete it.
Once the template is created, it will be available when creating a new quote:
