With this functionality, you will receive an alert notifying you when the available number of printing cylinders is insufficient in relation to the number of colors selected for flexographic printing. This alert will be displayed specifically if a die is selected, as the gear information is obtained with it.
Note:
In case of no die- cut is selected, the warning will not be displayed on the screen.
Example of price calculation
The following is an example of how to create a price calculation and how the corresponding notification is displayed.
Go to Modules > Sales > Estimate
- In the price calculation view, check the box for "Printed".
- When the different types of presses are displayed, select the "Flexo Press" option.
- Select the number of colors to be used for the label design.
- Once all the required fields have been filled in, we click on " Next "
- Choose the die cut and click on " Next "
- In the generated Price Calculation table, check the upper right corner for the following warning :
- The number of colors selected is greater than the number of printing cylinders available in stock.
