Materials l How to manage Materials within the system

Material Library

Once inside the view, we can see all the materials with the following data:

  • Material Label Title: The name of the material.
  • Material Label Subtitle: Provides more details about the material.
  • Group: If the material is assigned to a group, the group name will be displayed here. Otherwise, this field will be empty.
  • Owner: The name of the owner of the material.
  • Supplier: The name of the material's supplier.
  • Supplier's ID: Code related to the material's supplier.
  • Price: The price of the material along with the currency in which the price is set.
  • Last Update: Date and time of the last update to the product's price. If we hover over the material's price, we can also see the last update date and time.

Edit Material

From this view, we can edit materials in the system. To do this, we click on the name of the material we want to modify.

After clicking, a form will open where we can edit all the material's data. When finished, we press the Update button to save the changes.

Advanced Search

This section also includes advanced filters to streamline searches.

Click on the arrow in the upper right corner of the screen to display the filters.

  • Search with Filters: After adding the filters, click on Search to perform the search.
  • Clear Filters: To return to the default list without filters, press the Clear Filters button.

Modify Price

To modify the price of a material, click on its price in the table. This will enable two buttons (a check mark and a cross). Once we have updated the price, click on the blue check mark to save the changes or the gray cross to cancel the modification.

Delete Material

To delete a material from this section, click on the button on the right side of the material.

A confirmation box opens , to CANCEL or CONFIRM delete of Material.

Then, another confirmation box will appear where we need to click OK to complete the deletion.

 

Consumption Analysis

We can also see the analysis of the material's consumption over the past months by clicking on the following button:

By pressing it, we will be able to see both the material's data and the group to which it is assigned.
