Initially, it is convenient to create all the materials that we have available in stock and subsequently incorporate the new ones as purchases are made.
Before you begin adding rolls or units to your stock, you must first create the materials.
- Navigate to Settings > Raw Material > Materials
- In the top left corner, click on the "Add New Material" button.
- This action will open the form for creating a new material.
Some Observations:
Material Label Title & Material Label Subtitle, both are required fields which mainly serve as Title and Subtile of the Roll´s identification label.
Short Name, must be a short name that will be used in the SKU descriptions. Ex. SemG for Semigloss, or BOPP in case of BOPP.
Alias Extranet, is the name that will be shown in the customer's frontend.
Groups, Owners and Suppliers can be created within the same form by clicking on the + on the right of the same dropdown.
The Group field is for organizing together materials. Ex. Semigloss, BOPPs, etc. This function is specially useful when grouping very similar materials but from different suppliers. In this way you can easily find them on the same group.
The star icon on the top right will mark the material as favorite. This will position these materials on top of the list when used across the app.
SKU is for linking together the material with a code used in another system which handles purchase orders.
Laminate select in case the material is used for lamination.
Minimum Purchase is the minimum amount of material required to purchase by your supplier.
Exact purchase sumbo rolls refers to the amount required to buy in exact multiples of.
Supplier's ID is used to identify the material withe the same code as the indentification from your supplier.
In the Grammage field, the specific weight of the material can be added for specific calculations in the system.
