- Navigate to Settings > Production > Machines.
- In the top right corner of the screen, locate the "Add New" button.
- Click this button to access the form for creating a "New Machine".

Alias Use the Name Alias as a short name or abbreviation for the Machine
Working Hours is used to set the availability of the machine; usually it would be to 8 hours if you have one workshift.
Minimum Working time Here you have to estimate the minimum time that you need you to put the equipment to work.
In the Cost fields you can add all the cost relatives to the production of the machine based on square meters or by time. The usual cost added here are depreciation, electricity and labor cost.
The Time for Setup and Cleaning is the amount of time required by the operator of the machine to setup each color before the production and also to clean that color after the production. The value is in hours, for example half an hour would be 0.5
Capabilities this functionality is used when you need to separate a capability of the machine and the it will be add an extra cost. This is specially useful when estimating.
Device ID and Device Multiplier are reserved fields for the use with the Madiwor control device.
In the field Scrap Value, the length of the material used when threading the machine.
It is a best practice to use the comment field to save how the calculation of the cost was made and also another comments for further reference.
